So I'm currently working on an iPhone game project with USC graduates. It's exciting for me, since I have played games my whole life, to have the chance to contribute to a game. They are using me as a concept artist for the main character and some environments. Here are some of the images :)
What made this really cool was that I was expected to emulate an anime like style. I have never done any serious learning in terms of anime so it was great to finally roll up my sleeves and learn something new that I appreciate. I love the stress on the eyes and the hair that the anime style focuses on.
